I want to repost this paper that I posted a year ago so our new clients can read it. It is a paper I wrote several years ago for The National LIpid Association"s publication called The Lipid Spin. It is a quick read but it will help you to understand how exactly the "cars" traffic the "people" cholesterol into the wall of the artery causing an atherosclerotic plaque leading to a blockage.
